The GRRO Solution Information Packet
The Mass State Contract FAC96 covers moving services and state surplus disposal services. It includes both interstate and intrastate moves and disposition of worthless “scrap” furnishings that have been cleared through the state surplus system.
Eligible Entities to Use the FAC96 Contract:
- Cities, towns, districts, counties and other political subdivisions
- Executive, Legislative and Judicial Branches, including all Departments and elected offices therein
- Independent public authorities, commissions and quasi-public agencies
- Local public libraries, public school districts and charter schools
- Public Hospitals, owned by the Commonwealth
- Public institutions of high education
- Public purchasing cooperatives
- Non-profit, UFR-certified organizations that are doing business with the Commonwealth
- Other states and territories with no prior approval by the State Purchasing Agent required
- Other entities when designated in writing by the State Purchasing Agent.

- Cathode Ray Tubes
- Clean Gypsum Wallboard
- Glass
- Lead Batteries
- Leaves and Yard Waste
- Metal
- Metal or Glass Container
- Recyclable Paper
- Single Polymer Plastics
- Tires
- White Goods
- Wood
